Haiku contest

Meet the challenge and write your own Haiku.......

Prizes are the beast ever offered for the contest -  $50, $25 and $15 for the junior section. 

Prizes will be presented at the afternoon "birthday party" on June 6th in the katikati's Memorial Hall, an event to which the entire community is being invited and which will feature Japanese-theme entertainment.

How to enter -

The contest runs in two sections - one for over 18 (senior) and one for 17 and under (junior)

Send two copies of each poem putting your contact details, name, address, phone and email.  Juniors need to include their age.

Entry fees in the Juniors are $1 for every two.  There are no limits to the number of entries.

Closing date for the contest is April 16th.
