Triodent is a dental products innovator, manufacturer and marketer founded by Dr Simon McDonald in 2003. Dr McDonald, a dentist for 28 years, became frustrated with traditional systems for Class II posterior restorations (white resin fillings), so he decided to invent his own – the V-Ring and its later version, the V3 Ring. He also created a company to sell the V-Ring System, which was quickly acknowledged as the best in the world.
