Riverside Retreat Thompsons Track

We are Alan and Cloe, the owners of Riverside Retreat Thompson’s Track a rural secluded hidden gem.

We always have enjoyed staying at retreats away the normal hustle of life to refresh, rejuvenate and relax in nature spaces that are a little bit different and being event stylists in Tauranga the past 7 years creating pop up weddings and events for others on their properties we thought why not purchase a magic space and create weddings and events at our own air bnb space.

Our property features two queen chalets named Tranquility and Serenity, both set apart from eachother on the park land below set amongst beautiful gardens. They each have an indoor fireplace, indoor dining set, outdoor dining, outdoor French polished baths and their own swimming holes at the river. There’s a communal outdoor shower block and toilet room in between both chalets. Both air BnBs accomodate use of the lodge on the higher park grounds.

The gardens and birdsong, forest walk and water features make staying here just a dream from the moment you step out of your car you know you’re someone magic.

The beautiful wooden lodge beside the clear marquee on the upper park grounds hosts two separate lounging spaces with their own fireplaces, surround stereo system for both rooms, a dbl powder room for guests and a commercial kitchen which we as owners utilise for events.

It’s a retreat essentially for people on their own or in couple stays to enjoy the air bnb or to be booked as part of an event here with us.

We are excited to host the occasional health and wellness event here for people to explore, relax and utilise the space we share the joy in.
