Be inspired with Francine!
Katikati Floral Art is pleased to host Francine Thomas, the 2025 New Zealand Floral Art Designer of the Year at the Katikati Garden Ramble 2025. She will showcase one of her beautiful designs at Garden #6. Francine is an inspiration; a renowned designer, teacher and judge, she has taken many workshops and won prestigious awards both here and overseas. Francine is very creative and encouraging, a great teacher and is so down to earth, she makes you laugh and have fun. We are so lucky to have Francine, who lives in the Bay of Plenty, to be with us between 2- 5pm on Sunday 9th to chat about her design and pass on ideas and tips which are sure to inspire you. (Free for ticket holders).
Also at Garden #6 the Rotary Club of Katikati will be selling their Christmas Puddings at $25 each. They sold out at the last event – so don’t miss out!
Help a worthy cause
Garden # 19 of the Katikati Garden Ramble is Ron and Mayke’s Lucky Dip Nursery Knyvett Road; enjoy the delightful garden with its bedding plants including succulents and herbs – plus there will be a great selection of flower and vegetable plants for sale. Also on display and for sale are pieces by local artists Brett Lawrence (copper) and Rod Davies (Wood).
Refreshments will be provided with proceeds going to Kura Kai. (Kura Kai is about “whānau cooking for whānau”. They raise funds to buy chest freezers for the high schools they support, then mobilise local volunteers to cook and stock them with nutritious family meals. The schools identify which rangatahi and whānau need support and distribute the meals accordingly.)
